First of all, I would like to thank those of you who have given my family and I support over the past couple days. The passing-away of my grandfather has cast a looming shadow over us, and the past couple days, with the funeral/burial arrangements has been stressful. The actual funeral/ceremony is on Sunday afternoon, so I guess I have that to look forward to all weekend. I'm really not one for funerals. But I guess nobody really is.

My mom, little sister, and I went shopping in Reno yesterday, which was kind of nice. I got some new clothes and an outfit for the funeral, a new pair of black dressy shoes, and some new perfume (Gwen Stefani's Harajuku Lovers-'Baby' [it smells so good!]), but enough with the girly ramblings. ∂_∂
While we were there, and while my mom was trying to pull out of rush-hour traffic to get to JC Penney's, (AND obeying all traffic laws, I might add) some dumb bitch in a Mazarati comes up behind us at like 90 mph, swerves at the last second, nearly taking out the entire right side of the back of our car, and has the nerve to honk as if we were the wrongdoers. I told my mom to stay on the freeway and chase her down, because I had a plan (it involves [unused] female products, so if you are a complete, oversensitive wuss, then stop reading here). We were eventually able to pull up right along side her, so I took a forgotten tampon out of my bag, unwrapped/uncased it, dipped it in the water bottle I had so it was nice and wet, rolled down my window, and flung it at her windshield, to which it stuck like glue. Needless to say, the woman had a HORRIFIED look on her face, and nearly swerved out of control. My sister and I were laughing hysterically, as our mom scolded us angrily and merged onto the nearest off-ramp. That was pretty much the highlight of our day.

Anyways, several of you know about the incident awhile ago involving my apartment neighbor's obnoxious puppy who broke into the bedroom, found my tablet cord and thought it was a chew toy. I called the Wacom tech center and they said it would be about 100 dollars (approximately £60.19 GBP's, €67.38 EUR, $107.48 Canadian Dollars, and $1,341.00 Mexican Pesos) for shipping/cord replacement. And being a poor college kid, I of course have no extra $100 to spend. Soooooo, if anyone who isn't poor, and who likes my art, wants a commission, I will gladly do one and do my best work. It will most likely be traditional, but if you want a digital piece, it'll have to wait until my tablet is fixed (of course). You pick the price, and any amount of money is humbly appreciated!
